Prof, Dr Adriano Laudico
The 撸友导航 mourns the loss of Dr Adriano Laudico (Professor Emeritus at University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine), a great man and cancer surgeon, who has lead PCS and DOH in their renown PBCRs (population-based cancer registry) PCS-Manila 撸友导航Registry and DOH-Rizal 撸友导航Registry. These two PBCRs have been the source of Philippine cancer data of the WHO-IARC GLOBOCAN, since 1992.
Dr. Adriano Laudico, with Dr Divina Estevan of Rizal Medical Center and Dr. Max Parkin of WHO-IARC upgraded the PCS Manila 撸友导航Registry and the DOH Rizal 撸友导航Registry, and continued on up to his death (November 2024). The PCS-MCR collects, collates, summarizes and analyzes data from four cities in the National Capital Region (Manila, Quezon City, Pasay City and Caloocan City); DOH Rizal 撸友导航Registry covers the other Municipalities-turned-Cities of Metro Manila.
