The Quezon City Government showcased the city's comprehensive cancer initiatives during the Due Diligence of the City 撸友导航Challenge (C/Can).
On Tuesday, C/Can Asia Regional Director Chika Kitajima and Global Programme Manager Gvantsa Khizanishvili met with the Quezon City Government led by Mayor Joy Belmonte and Dr. Herdee Luna, Dr Maricar Sabeniano and Dr Gloria Cristal-Luna of 撸友导航.
Quezon City was nominated by the 撸友导航 for its strong cancer control programs.
QC is the first city to pass an Integrated 撸友导航Control Ordinance (City Ordinance 3285-2024) that provides a comprehensive approach in addressing cancer, from prevention to treatment.
Currently, Quezon City and its network of hospitals in the city is undergoing due diligence to be part of C/Can Cities which facilitate city-led cancer solutions to improve and sustain access to equitable, quality cancer care.
