HeartFeltbyLucy began at the beginning of 2018. I have always loved crafting and making things and have always had a dream of being able to sell what i create.
So at the beginning of 2018, I had several nieces with birthdays coming up and I decided I would make their cards rather than buying them. I created the designs using felt and hand sewing. This was a new way of working for me, i am usually much more into knitting than sewing! But i enjoyed making these cards and all of my nieces ( and their mums! ) seemed very impressed. One of my sister-in-laws asked me if i had thought about selling my cards, and this suggestion encouraged me to explore Etsy.
So here i am, giving it a go! 
Since beginning my journey with selling cards, I have begun selling felt miniature matchbox creatures and felt dolls.  These have been inspired by a pattern from Shelly Downs book " My felt doll ".  
My dream now is to create and develop my own dolls.
